Huffman, Thomas Patrick,  54, of Rocky Mount, NC, passed away December 26, 2018 in Homer City, Pa. Born September 26, 1964 in Johnstown, Pa. Son of Boyd and Janet (Campbell) Huffman. Preceded in death by father Boyd Huffman. Survived by; Loving wife Jacqueline Michelle (Miles), loving mother Janet Huffman, loving children ; Elizabeth Thompson, Hunter Huffman, Sydney Huffman, and London Huffman;  loving brothers , Rick Huffman (Denise) and Ron Huffman. Numerous nieces and nephews. Tom was a loving husband, father, teacher and coach. Over the course of his 20 plus year career, he worked to improve the lives of all the students he touched. He was a wrestling, football, baseball, and cross country coach at Parker Middle School. Tom was an IUP graduate. He served in the Pennsylvania National Guard - 103 Armor Headquarters Co. Friends and family will be received from 2 pm to 4:30 pm Saturday at the Jon A. Meese Funeral Home - Seward. Funeral Service will be held at 5 pm Saturday at the Seward United Methodist Church. Rev Steven Lamb officiating. Private interment. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Rocky Mount, NC. at a later date to be announced.

We were sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Huffman, I had the privilege of meeting him at Parker Middle School, he was my grandson Jusiyah's Social Studies Teacher, he was a very caring teacher, he encouraged Jusiyah to get on the wrestling team, he had a few practices with him, he will truly be missed, our prayers are with you,💙🙏🥊🏈⚾️🏀🏆😥

We like to send you our condolences during this very difficult time. Coach Huffman was a very caring staff member at Parker Middle School. He insured not only the athletic students were taken care of BUT all students were well cared for. We will miss seeing his face at Athletic events and as well as other school functions. He truly spreader a ray of positive sunshine upon the students. To the family, we pray that God will provide you comfort and strength in the days to come.

I am sorry for your lost. I can’t imagine how it feels. Wish you nothing but peace during this time. Hopefully I will get the chance to see you all before I go back to school. Mr. Huffman was one that pushed me to be great.
