Agnes Rusin Obituary

Rusin, Agnes Marie "Hon," 95, of Seward, passed away April 14, 2017, at Indiana Regional Hospital. Born December 10, 1921, in Ferriers Run, Pa., daughter of Joseph and Agnes (Burger) Gorman. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Edward J. Rusin; son, Gerald Rusin; grandson, Aaron Rusin; sisters, Mary Black, Patricia Catanese and Dorothy Mroczka; brothers, Edward, William, George, Charles and Thomas Gorman. Survived by loving sons, Ted Rusin, married to the former Linda Peters, Indiana; Timothy Rusin of Youngstown, Pa.; Jeffrey Rusin, Johnstown; Christopher Rusin, married to the former Janice Henry, Vintondale; and Joel, married to the former Jane Wood, McConnellsburg; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Patricia) and David Gorman. Hon was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward, also the Rosary Altar Society. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, Seward. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward, the Rev. Robert Washko, officiating. Interment, Armagh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward.
