Angeline Catanese

CATANESE Angeline, 87, Seward, passed away Dec. 24, 2011, at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital, Johnstown. Born June 8, 1924, in Johnstown, daughter of Dominic and Rose (Unger) Cantela. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Anthony, who died in 2004; brother, Joseph Cantela; and sister, Marie Stumpo. Survived by loving son, Anthony J., married to former Donna Kalinyak, Canonsburg; loving daughter, Rosemarie, married to Gary Hamrock, Seward; grandchildren, Anthony M. Catanese, married to former Hilary Wakefield; Garrett, and fiancee, Kayla Rosa; and Brittany Hamrock; and brother, James Cantela, married to Arlene, Wyckoff, N.J. Member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward. Longtime member of Altar Rosary Society. Lifetime member of Seward Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, 1201 Fifth St., Seward. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward, the Rev. Robert Washko, officiating. Interment, Armagh Cemetery.
