Anna Mae Connell

CONNELL Anna Mae, 85, Seward, was called home Oct. 31, 2011, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born May 13, 1926, in New Kensington, Pa., daughter of Wilbert and Elsie Mae (Cribbs) Moore. Preceded in death by parents; first husband, Clair T. Cramer, who died in 1958; second husband, Ira John Connell, who died in 1994; daughter, Patricia Heming; grandson, David C. Cramer Jr.; brothers, Stanley and William Moore; and sister, Dorothy Naylor. Survived by loving children, David Cramer, married to the former Donna LaCorte, Clyde; Shirley, married to Todd Heming, Seward; Harry Cramer, married to the former Carol McGinnis, North Carolina; James Cramer and Melody Gorzelsky, both of Johnstown; Ronald Cramer, married to the former Alane McDonald, Seward; JoAnne, married to Phillip Ferris, New Florence; and Rick Heming, married to the former Patricia Solich, Seward; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; stepdaughters, Linda Connell, married to Terrence Mitnik, Pittsburgh; and Barbara Connell, Johnstown; brother, Bob, and sister-in-law, Ruth Moore, Seward; sisters, Viola Frazier, Johnstown; and Janet Naylor, Seward; and longtime special friend, Francis Pesarchic, Johnstown. Member of Seward United Methodist Church. She was an ardent sewer and crafter. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, 1201 Fifth St., Seward. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Seward United Methodist Church, the Rev. Scott Hamley, officiating. Interment, Armagh Cemetery.
