Barbara Ann Lucas

Lucas - Barbara Ann, 42, Johnstown, formerly of Seward, died Dec. 28, 2007, at home. Born Sept. 28, 1965, in Laurel, Md., daughter of James Kenneth and Deborah (Kokoruda) Lynch. Preceded in death by her grandparents. Survived by parents; husband, James Bryan Lucas; brother, James Kenneth Lynch Jr., married to the former Leah Thompson, Seward; sisters, Donna, married to Barry Boothby, Johnstown, and Heather, married to Anthony Thurber, Burnt Cabins, Pa.; numerous nieces and nephews; and a great-nephew. Bryan and Barbara spent 18 years of their lives together and they were married in 1993. Barbara loved her dog, Remington. She was active at the South Fork Rifle Club and was a member of Seward United Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 til the time of funeral service, 8 p.m. Monday at the Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, 1201 Fifth St., Seward, the Rev. Ronald Emery officiating. Private interment, Armagh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the family.
