Bonita Marie Shiley

Shiley, Bonita Marie, 93, of Seward, passed away December 8, 2025 at Westmoreland Hospital.  Born October 15, 1932, in Meyersdale, Pa., daughter of Harry R, and Mary M. (Geiger) Boyer.  Preceded In death by parents; first husband Joseph Lynk, second husband Richard E. Shiley; son Richard C. Shiley, son Grant Shiley and daughter-in-law Tina; and brother Harry “Bud” Boyer.  Survived by daughters Roxann married to James Taylor – North Carolina and Suzann Shiley  (Ronnie Dodson) – North Carolina; grandchildren, Zackary (Gina) Shiley, Jarrad Taylor and Allison, Janelle, married to Bill Parker,  Ashley and Eric McAchren; great –grandchildren, Jett Shiley, Sumer and Autum Persio, and Erin Taylor.  Bonnie was a member of Blacklick Methodist Church.  She retired after 20 years as a RN at Conemaugh Hospital and she was a five time past president and member of United Area Lions.  Friends will be received from 3 to 7  p.m. Thursday at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home – Seward where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday.  Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum.  Jon A. Meese Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
