Boyd E. Huffman, Jr.

Huffman, Boyd E.   79, of Homer City passed away September 7, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born August 23, 1937 in Homer City, PA. Son of Boyd E. and Elizabeth (Smith) Huffman Sr. Preceded in death by his parents, sister Lillian, brothers, Joseph "Bud", Donald and Ken. Survived by loving wife Janet. Loving sons, Rick married to Denise, Ron, and Tom married to Jackie. Loving grandchildren, Steven, Nathan, David, Noah, Elizabeth, Hunter, Sydney, and London. Also sisters, Ruth Mock, and Betty Colyer. Boyd worked at Harris-Boyer Bakery for 10 years, Dietrick Co. for 2 years, and Westinghouse for 30 years, serving as a quality control technician. He was a member of the PA National Guard, 28th Div. 103rd Armor. Boyd enjoyed sports of all kinds especially baseball and wrestling. Friends will be received from 2 to 4p.m. and 6 to 8p.m. Friday at the Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, Seward. Funeral service will be held at 10:00a.m. Saturday at the Funeral Home. The Rev. Steve Lamb officiating. Interment Armagh Cemetery.
