Carolyn Powell Obituary

POWELL - Carolyn Louise, 83, Seward, died Feb. 8, 2010, at home. Born Aug. 24, 1926, in Bethlehem, Pa., daughter of Stanley and Anna (Delong) Solt. Preceded in death by parents and son, Roderick Powell. Survived by daughter, Barbara, married to James D. Jarvie, Monroeville; grandchildren, James S. and Christopher Jarvie; sisters, Catherine Weaver and Jean Steely, both of Bethlehem, Pa. Member of Christ Lutheran Church, Johnstown, and attended Bethlehem Business College. There will be no public viewing or visitation. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Grandview Cemetery. The family is being served by Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, Seward.
