Woodring, Chaney A., 82 of Seward, passed away September 29, 2018 in Johnstown. Born May 3, 1936 in Dilltown, Pa. Son of Chaney and Hannah (Richardson) Woodring Sr. Preceded in death by parents, wife Barbara, who died in 2004, an infant son, sisters Dorothy Woodring, Betty Nearhoof, and Janet Wheeler. Also a brother Harry Woodring. Survived by loving son Chaney Woodring III married to the former Julie Burda - Homer City. Loving daughter Kelly married to Craig Deemer - New Florence. Grandchildren Chaney IV (Lauren), Jesse, Brittany (Donte), and Caeli Woodring, Bryan Deemer (Jaclyn) and Tyler Deemer. Also sisters Sarah Tupis - New York and Katherine Mae Stewart - Michigan. Step brother Murr Dias - Maryland and step sister Joan Cichon - Arizona. Chaney retired from Bethlehem Steel with 38 years service as a crane operator. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, craft woodworking, and repairing lawn mowers. He was a member of Seward United Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm Wednesday at the Jon A. Meese Funeral Home - Seward. Funeral service will be held at 11 am Thursday at Seward United Methodist Church, Rev Scott Hamley officiating. Interment Armagh Cemetery
