HROPOVICH – Charles M., 69, Hagerstown, Md., formerly of Seward, passed away April 21, 2013, at home. Born Jan. 23, 1944, in Johnstown, son of Mike and Betty J. (Rose) Hropovich. Preceded in death by son, Michael; and parents. Survived by loving wife, the former Patricia Reidell; loving son, Richard, married to the former Aretta Foltz, Seward; grandchildren, Brittany, married to Kris Dennison; and Chelsey, Chucky and Katlyn Hropovich; great-grandson, Aaron Dennison; and mother-in-law, Kate Napotnik. Death breaks marriage union of 47 years. He was a retired machinist and metallurgist with Mack Truck, having 32 years of service. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and also was an amateur magician. Member of American Legion in Hagerstown and Brotherhood of Magicians. Social member of Seward VFW. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, Seward, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Nancy Green and the Rev. Bud Walls, officiating. Interment, Benshoff Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Multiple Sclerosis Society.
