Dolores Mae Cardarella

Cardarella, Dolores Mae, 86, of Seward passed away February 8, 2023 at Laurel Wood Nursing Care Center, Johnstown.  Born October 17, 1936 in Johnstown.  Daughter of Joseph and Mary (Filo) Kanuch.  Preceded in death by parents; infant twins, Joe and Dolores; son, James Christopher Cardarella and brothers,  Joseph Kanuch and wife, Mary and Donald Kanuch and wife, Patty.  Survived by loving husband of 64 years, Joseph; loving children, Joel Cardarella, married to the former DeAnn Hadix, Richland; Kimberly married to Jeffrey Cable, New Florence; grandchildren, Kaela and Marissa Cardarella, Joshua Cable, Shaina Ward, and Anna and Jacqueline Cardarella; sister, Mary Catherine "Cookie" Kutchma and husband Mike; brother, Edward Kanuch and wife JoAnn.  Dolores was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward.  She worked as a registered nurse for years.  She was a business owner, along with her husband, of Mark's Place, Bolivar She was excellent at ceramics and crafting, arranging many calendar parties.  Her porch was known as Mrs C's Porch.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.  Friends will be received from 9 to 11 am Monday at the Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, Seward.  Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward, Father Willie Lechnar officiating.  Interment Armagh Cemetery.
