NAYLOR - Donald E., 76, Seward, died Aug. 29, 2009, at the Presbyterian Home, Johnstown. Born Jan. 20, 1933, in Seward, son of John Henry and Elda Pearl (Luker) Naylor. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, William and Richard Naylor; and sisters, Zelda Jordan, Thelma Horner and Mary Airgood. Survived by loving wife, the former Janet Moore; sons, Donald Jr., married to former Louanne Penrose, Robinson, and Edward Dale, married to the former Cynthia Nixon, Seward; grandchildren, Debbie Sue Hazlett, Crystal Clerice Cherry, Ed Naylor Jr. and Donald III and Michael Naylor; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Elizabeth Hazlett, Amanda Graff, Logan Cherry and Michael Jr., Abigail, Brennen, Lila and Julie Naylor.; brother, Charles Naylor, Florida; and sisters, Dorothy Carmichael, Newton Falls, Ohio; Delores Millis, Newton Falls, Ohio; Vivian Matsik, Waxhaw, N.C.; and Ida Pearl Yambor, Honey Brook. Death breaks marriage union of 56 years. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in Germany with the 628th Tank Battalion. Lifetime member of Robinson VFW Post 9310. Member of Sandybottom Sportsmen's Club. Retired from Florence Mining Co. with 22 years of service. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, 1201 Fifth St., Seward, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Ruth Moore officiating. Interment, Armagh Cemetery. Military service in charge of local veterans organizations.
