Doris Ailene James

JAMES – Doris Ailene, 90, formerly of Dale, passed away Jan. 7, 2014, at Cambria Care Center, Ebensburg. Born June 26, 1923, in West Wheatfield Township, daughter of Christopher James and Mary Margaret (Naylor) Allshouse. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert L. James; daughter, Debra James; two stepchildren; four sisters; and five brothers. Survived by stepson, Robert James; stepdaughter, Pamela; stepgranddaughter, Angela Bednarz; and niece, Ruth, married to Harmon Reese, Irwin. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, Seward, where funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Private interment at Richland Cemetery.
