Dorothy M. Mroczka

MROCZKA – Dorothy M., 98, Blairsville, passed away Oct. 19, 2015, at home surrounded by her family. Born Sept. 22, 1917, in Ehrenfeld, daughter of Joseph and Agnes (Burger) Gorman. Preceded in death by parents; husband, John Mroczka, who died in 1951; son-in-law, Kenneth Clark; sisters, Patricia Catanese and Mary Eileen Black; and brothers, Edward, Thomas, Charles, George and William Gorman. Survived by loving children, Marilyn Clark, Bokoshe, Okla.; and John “Jack” Mroczka, married to Rhonda, Armagh; loving grandchildren, Michelle Mazzaferro, Kenneth Clark, Tammy Orton, Shawn Clark, Tanya McMunn, Heather Haslam and Shauna Carns; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Agnes Rusin, Seward; and brothers, David Gorman, married to Theresa, New Florence; and Robert Gorman, married to Patricia, Seward. Member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Coral, Pa. Dorothy was a member and regent of Catholic Daughters and a member of the Altar Rosary Society and Christian Mothers. She was an active member and loved her church in her early years. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, Seward. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward, Father Ronald Cyktor, officiating. Private interment at Grandview Cemetery.
