Obituary

Stercho, Genevieve June, 100, formerly of Seward, passed away December 5, 2020 at Laurelwood Nursing Home in Westmont. Born June 10, 1920 in Clymer, Pa. Daughter of Thomas and Laura (Penrose) Mack. Preceded in death by husband Mike Stercho, son Richard Stercho , grandson Michael Stercho, brother Kenneth Mack , sisters Mary Dailey and Bertha McGinty. Survived by loving children; Michael Stercho married to Kristine - Wexford, Pa, Janet McClure - North Carolina,  Stacie married to William Smith - Athens, Georgia, and daughter-in-law, Margie Stercho.  Loving grandchildren; Cathy Leahy, Gary McClure, Jeffrey Smith, Adam Smith, Megan Biesinger, Katy Lovas, Suzanna Avery, Andrew Stercho, and J.C Mahan. 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Also brother John Mack - Johnstown. Genevieve was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church - Seward. She was a great mom and was deeply loved by her children and grandchildren. Family was everything to Genevieve. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Viewing and funeral service will be private. Interment Grandview Cemetery. Jon A.
