Cole, George Hynson Sr., 78, Lanham, Md, died Nov. 15, 2007, at Latrobe Regional Health Center. Born Aug. 12, 1929, in Preston, Md., son of Auther John Cole and Burkie Melinda Todd. Preceded in death by parents, brothers and sisters. Survived by sons and daughter, Elleta M. Grubbs, Farrell J. Hobbs, Darrell L. Hobbs, Hynson G. Cole Jr., John H. Cole Sr. and Eugene Cole; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A U.S. Army veteran, having served in Korea. Self-employed carpenter. Private interment in Maryland. Family is being served by Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, Seward.
