George "Sonny" Walters

Walters, George F.  "Sonny",  78 of Seward, passed away February 27, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born October 22,1939 in Dunlo, Pa. Son of George W. and Janet (Scaife) Walters. Preceded in death by parents, and son-in-law David Michael. Survived by loving wife of 56 years Eva M., Loving children, DiAnne married to William Balint - Brush Valley; Steven Walters married to the former Mary Ann Vozel - Robinson; and William Walters married to the former Holly Haffner - Monroe, Washington. Granddaughters Richelle (Dustin), Stephanie, and Bethany. Great Grandson Dean. Brothers; Fred (Jo) Walters - Florida and Archie (Pam) Walters - Seward; sister, Mary married to Pete Clark, Seward.  Several nieces and nephews. Also sister-in-law Daisy (Jack) Henry. George attended Seward United Methodist Church and the Armagh Senior Center. He was retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, woodworking, and watching the Steelers. George loved his children and grand kids. Friends received from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm Friday at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home - Seward. Funeral service will be held Saturday 11 am at Seward United Methodist Church. Rev Scott Hamley officiating. Interment Armagh Cemetery.
