CAMERON – Ira W. “Butch,” 53, Seward, passed away June 8, 2015, at home. Born Nov. 1, 1961, in Wiesbaden, Germany, son of Ira and Karin (Spiess) Cameron. Preceded in death by stepfather, James H. Davis. Survived by wife of 20 years, Theresa (Lorditch); loving mother, Karin; children, Jessica Cameron, Stahlstown; John Cameron, Stahlstown; and Anna and David Cameron, at home; stepsons, Douglas Dubics, married to Amber, Homer City; and Paul Dubics, Maryland; grandson, Ian Thomas Dubics; sisters, Peggy McGinnis, Johnstown; and Leslie Cameron, Seward; and numerous nieces and nephews. Butch graduated from Laurel Valley High School in 1980; had 21 years of service with the U.S. Marine Corps, National Guard and Army; served in the first Iraq war, Desert Storm; and was employed by M&C Trucking. He loved to hunt, fish and bowl and attended Trinity Presbyterian Church. Butch will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, Seward. Funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, the Rev. Ronald Durika, officiating. Private interment at Armagh Cemetery will be held at a later date
