Irene E. Devlin

DEVLIN Irene E., 83 Seward, died Nov. 26 2011, at Presbyterian Home, Johnstown. Born June 12, 1928, in Johnstown, daughter of George and Mary (Seibert) Simon. Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry Devlin, who died in 1982; brothers, George and John Simon; and sisters, Helen Ernhardt, Elizabeth Biondo and Mary Kerekes. Survived by loving sons, Ronald, married to former Janice Loughner, Greencastle, Pa., and David, married to former Susan Griffith, Gas Center; grandchildren, Kimberly and Kathleen Devlin; great- grandchildren, Gabriel, Tane, Madelyn and Dayton; brothers, Frank Simon, Pontiac, Mich.; William Simon, Charles; and Joseph Simon, Florida; and sisters, Margaret Caparimo, Clyde, and Goldie Mack, Clyde. Member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward and Altar- Rosary Society. Loving mother grandmother and great-grandmother. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, 1201 Fifth St., Seward. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward, the Rev. Robert Washko officiating.
