James Edward Bowman

Bowman, James Edward, 77, of Windber passed away January 14, 2023.  Born June 26, 1945 in Johnstown.  Son of Victor and Kathryn (Boring) Ochenrider.  Preceded in death by parents and brother, Junior.  Survived by daughter, Bobbi Jo Bowman; son, James McAlleer; grandchildren, April, Elijah, Lilly, Jordan, and Paislea; sisters, Barbara Currie, Debbie Barkley, and Vicki Bewak; also numerous nieces and nephews.  Jim was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Vietnam.  He was employed by McIlwain Bus Lines and Roxbury Tire.  At his request there be no viewing or funeral services.  Private Interment.  Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, Seward is honored to serve the family.  The family would like to thank Melanie and Abby of Windber Hospice for their excellent care.
