Currie, Jerry W., 73, Seward. Passed Away January 29, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born May 6, 1947 in Johnstown. Son of Donald and Ora (Whited) Currie. Preceded in death by parents, brothers, Ray, Wayne, and David Currie; sister Patricia Shaw. Survived by loving wife of 50 years Barbara "Bobbi" (Ochenrider) Currie; son Donald Currie -Charles, daughter Mary Kay married to Gary Plows - South Fork, grandchildren James Currie, Brooke Plows, and Morgan Currie; great granddaughter Olivia Sheehan (whom Barb and Jerry babysat) and brother Tom Currie married to Debbie - Charles. Jerry was a retired coal miner , having worked for Consol Energy for over 20 years. Both he and Barb loved his children and grand children very much. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Member of South Fork VFW and the St. Michael American Legion also the Vietnam Veterans of America. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. At Jerry's request there will be no viewing or visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Jon A. Meese Funeral Home - Seward is honored to serve the family
