Joann C. Jones

JONES – Joann Catherine, 81, Armagh, passed away March 26, 2015, at home. Born Feb. 9, 1934, in Seward, daughter of Christopher and Ruth (Glotfelty) Hartle. Preceded in death by parents; and son, David Jones-Corso. Survived by loving husband of 58 years, Richard A. Jones, Armagh; loving daughter, Stephanie, married to Rodney Marcum, Raleigh, N.C.; loving grandchildren, Nicole Marcum and Cutter A. Corso; daughter-in-law, Tina Corso, St. Louis, Mo.; and brother-in-law, William Jones, married to Joan. Member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward. She was a retired school teacher with 35 years of service with United School District. She was awarded the Presidents Award for volunteering for more than 27 years at Conemaugh Hospital. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, Seward. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward, Father Robert Washko, officiating. Interment, Armagh Cemetery.
