John Holupka

HOLUPKA - John, 82, Johnstown, died March 18, 2010, at home. Born July 17, 1927, in Bowersville, Pa., son of John and Anna (Firment) Holupka. Preceded in death by parents; first wife, Mary Louise; and sons, John and Michael. Survived by loving daughter, Georgann Holupka; grandchildren, Erin; John and Lisa; Lance, Stephen, James and Matthew Holupka; great-grandchildren, Trevor and Hannah Holupka; brother, Frank, Aurora, Ohio; and sister, Lena and husband, Cyril Heming, New Florence. Retired coal miner, having worked for Imperial and Barnes & Tucker coal companies. He enjoyed hunting. Friends and family will be received at a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 22, at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, 1201 Fifth St., Seward, Father Robert Washko, officiating. Interment, Armagh Cemetery.
