Joseph S. Nicoletti

NICOLETTI – Joseph S., 69, Seward, passed away Oct. 25, 2013, at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital. Born March 11, 1944, in Johnstown, son of Robert L. and Mary M. (Mangiafico) Nicoletti. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by loving wife of 47 years, former Joyce Lohr, Seward; loving sons, Robert, and fiancee, Linda, Mundys Corner, and Joseph Jr., at home; brother, Alex Nicoletti, married to Joylyn, Jennerstown; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward. He had 23 years of service as coal miner with R&P Coal Co. Retired from Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital as a valet. Member of UMWA, District 2. He was a Cub Scout leader and enjoyed watching movies. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, 1201 Fifth St., Seward. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward, the Rev. Robert Washko, officiating.
