Joyce Shaffer

Shaffer, Joyce, 81, of Robinson passed away January 12, 2024 at home.  Born August 28, 1942, the daughter of Lonnie and Alice (Montgomery) Brendlinger.  Preceded in death by parents, husband Dennis Shaffer, son Dennis Shaffer Jr, great granddaughter Hailey Quick, brother Kenny Brendlinger, and sister Shirley Thompson.  Survived by daughter Renee Quick of New Florence, grandchildren; Scott (Mary) Quick, Derek Quick, Erin (Carley) Murin, Samantha Shaffer, Ally Shaffer, great grandchildren; Skyler, Mason, Collin, Maddox, Helena, Phoenix;  sisters Sharon (Richard) Lowther and Sandy Jarvis;  brothers Jim (Jeanie) Brendlinger  and Danny (Emma) Brendlinger.  Joyce was recently employed as a nurse's aide at Bethlen Home, Ligonier.  She loved her dog Chi Chi and cat Henry.  Joyce loved to stay busy and enjoyed taking care of people.  She was the best mom anyone could ever ask for.  Friends will be received Wednesday from 11 am up until  time of service at 1 pm at the Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, Seward.  Private interment Bethel Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers. please make donations directly to the family.
