Kathy Peffer

Peffer, Kathy, 73, of Johnstown passed away October 13, 2024 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  Born September 29, 1951 in Champaign, Illinois, the daughter of the late Ima and Harold Swart.  Also preceded in death by son, Matthew Peffer.  Survived by husband Wayne; daughter Amanda Sullivan married to Chris and grandson Will; daughter-in-law Michelle Peffer and granddaughter Faith Mathews; and many dear friends.    Kathy graduated from Waynesburg  High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  She retired in 2014 from Growing Years Early Learning Center.  The family would like to thank the staffs from Conemaugh Home Health, Dr. Gurevich, and DaVita Home PD Dialysis Center for all their assistance, kindness, and compassion.  At the request of the family, there will be no public viewing or service.  If anyone cares to do anything to honor Kathy in lieu of flowers or donations, please just do a kindness for someone suffering with health issues.  The Jon A.
