MITCHELL – Kimberly Raye, 55, Seward, passed away May 9, 2015, at home. Born Dec. 4, 1960, in Johnstown, daughter of James and Shirley (Meyer) Evans. Preceded in death by father, James Evans, and son, Christopher Evans, who passed away in 2005. Survived by loving husband, Robert E. Mitchell; loving mother, Shirley Ann Meyer; loving sisters, Beverly Nave, Tennessee; Colleen, married to Dennis Marsh, Brush Valley; Cheryll, married to Loran Wentz, Seward; and Stephanie, married to Walter Perry, New Florence; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Sandy Mitchell; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Also her loving dog, Tequila. Kim and Robert had been together for over 33 years, the last 16 years being married. She enjoyed reading, playing on the computer, casinos, traveling to the beach, volunteering with the Shrine Circus and driving her Camaro. “She had a need for speed.” Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, Seward, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Norris Mason, officiating. Interment, Armagh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, place make donations to Four Footed Friends of Indiana or Seward United Methodist Church.
