Survived by her loving family; parents Joseph and Julia Dzmura; devoted husband of 40 years, James W. Heffelfinger; loving sons, Jason Heffelfinger, Seward, and Aric Heffelfinger married to the former Erin Bealonis of Leesburg, Va.; grandchildren, Allison, Tyler, and Camilla Heffelfinger; loving sister, Cynthia married to Stanley James, Johnstown; nephew, Adam, and niece, Breanne; an aunt, an uncle and numerous cousins and loving pets, Coco, Lexi, and Bentley. Lori was the matriarch of the family, often organizing family gatherings and always looked at as the leader. She enjoyed family vacations at the beach. The surviving family will be forever grateful for the Sanibel Island 2016 trip. Lori was also an extremely hard worker and a very generous and giving person. She was a medical technologist at Lee Hospital for many years. Recently, she was the laboratory manager at UPMC Children's Hospital, Pittsburgh. She also worked at the Indiana Regional Medical Center. She was in the medical field for nearly 40 years. She often worked double shifts to ensure her family could live comfortably. She was a tremendous person and it is extremely difficult to believe the world can be a better place without her. She will be dearly missed by her loving family. At Lori's request viewing and funeral mass will be private. Jon A. Meese Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family. Please visit www.meesefuneralhome.com.
