Luana "Tootie" Swiney

SWINEY - Luana "Tootie," 68, Eastlake, Ohio, formerly of Seward, died Sept. 8, 2009, at home. Born Nov. 25, 1940, in Seward. Preceded in death by parents, Leonard and Martha Edwards; husband and best friend, John D. Swiney; and brothers, L. Wayne and Armour Edwards. Survived by sons, Jeffrey, married to Lisa, Florida; Brian, married to Barbara, Mayfield Village, Ohio; and Michael, married to Laura, New Jersey; grandchildren, Laura and Kevin, Ohio; and Sean and Kyle, New Jersey; and brother, James Edwards, married to the former Carol Kelly, Seward. Retired registered nurse, having graduated from Conemaugh School of Nursing. There will be no viewing or visitation at Tootie's request. Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Armagh Cemetery.
