VARHOLAK – Margaret (Warhola), 91, Seward, passed away July 24, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 20, 1924, in Blairsville, daughter of Theodore and Catherine (Maydak) Warhola. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Theodore Varholak, who passed away in 1992; and son, Theodore R. “Teddy” Varholak. Survived by loving son, David A. Varholak, married to the former Margaret Buchkoski, Seward; loving daughter, Sharon Geyer, Melbourne, Fla.; loving grandchildren, John David Varholak; and Susan Kay Varholak, married to Tim Rager; great-grandson, Alex Rager; and sister, Olga Pollock, Blairsville. Member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Blairsville High School and employed as a sales clerk at Glosser Bros. She volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul Society. Lifetime member of Seward Volunteer Fire Company ladies auxiliary. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, Seward, where Parastas will be held at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Woodvale, Father Andrew Krasulski, officiating.
