Marilyn E. Lambing

LAMBING - Marilyn E., 61, New Florence, died Dec. 8, 2009, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Aug. 6, 1948, in Johnstown, daughter of John and Edna (Grove) Edwards. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Bud and Johnny; and sisters, Joyce and Wanda. Survived by loving husband, Gerald, New Florence; these loving children: Christina, married Phil Henderson, Seward; Patricia, married to Gregory Avramis, Johnstown; and Gerald A., married to the former Tiffany Sherba, Davidsville; grandchildren, Philip Henderson and Austin and Breanna Lambing; brother, Jimmy Edwards; and sisters, Twila, Halda, Cindy, Helen, Mary and Vicki. Marilyn loved the Lord and was a born again Christian. She taught Sunday school at Shannon Creek Baptist Church in the past. Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, 1201 Fifth St., Seward, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment, Armagh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your favorite charity.
