Martha Clara Edwards

Edwards, Martha Clara, 90, of Seward, died April 10, 2007, at Beacon Ridge Nursing Home, Indiana, Pa. Born Dec. 21, 1916, in Latrobe, daughter of Aaron and Jennie (Frye) Loughner. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Leonard, who died in 1978; son, Armour, who died in 1977; stepson, Leonard Wayne; brothers, Charles Cute, Jim Loughner, Robert Loughner and Ferd Loughner; and sister, Virginia Succheralli. Survived by daughter, Lueana Swiney, East Lake, Ohio; son, James, married to the former Carol Kelly, Seward; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Brian and Michael Swiney, James Edwards, Armour Edwards, Tammy Yahnert, Leslie Edwards and Stacey Buettner; great-grandchildren, Autumn Edwards, Laura and Kevin Swiney, Sean and Kyle Swiney and Holly and Bill Stiles; brother, Theodore Loughner, Blairsville; and son-in-law, John D. Swiney. Member of Seward United Methodist Church, Golden Rule Class, Seward Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary; and Armagh and Seward senior citizen centers. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, 1201 Fifth St. , Seward. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday at Seward United Methodist Church, the Rev. Ronald Emery officiating. Interment, Armagh Cemetery.
