Mary Louise Waddell

WADDELL – Mary Louise, 88, Delmont, formerly of New Florence, passed away July 14, 2012, at Greensburg Care Center. Born June 12, 1924, in La Jose, Pa., daughter of Cecil and Hazel (Rainey) Blankenbicker. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert Milton Charles Waddell, who died in 1994; brothers, Jack Rainey and Richard and John Edward Blankenbicker. Survived by loving children, Suann Hickman, Seward, and Robert M., married to former Diane Boyd, Greensburg; grandchildren, Heather, Dawn and Hillary; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Landon, Kendall and Robert; and sister, Donna Hollingsworth, Rockville, Md. Member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Ligonier, and the Eastern Star. Co-owner of Super Oil Co., Seward. Immediately following her graduation from Johnstown High School, she went to work for the Navy Department. Mary Louise was very proud and loved her working career. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, 1201 Fifth St., Seward, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Scott Hamley. Interment, Bethel Cemetery.
