Rager-Butler, Nancy Jean, 72, of Indiana, died Feb. 9, 2008, at Indiana Hospital. Born Dec. 20, 1935, in Wilmore, Pa., daughter of Harry and Alice (Craig) Ellis. Preceded in death by parents and second husband, Phil Butler. Survived by daughters, Lucinda, married to Brad Miller, Indiana; Sheryle, married to Thomas Ambrose, Brush Valley; son, Earl N. Rager Jr., married to the former Connie Mack, New Florence R.D.; and Martin Rager, New Florence R.D.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister Al Lou Powell-Wirick, Somerset; also numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Grace United Methodist Church, Indiana Pa. A retired bus driver for Laurel Valley School District. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, 1201 Fifth St., Seward, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Brad Lauster officiating. Private family interment.
