Owen L. Stiffler, 82, of Graceton, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017, at Indiana Regional Hospital. Born Sept. 16, 1934, in Boltz, he was a son of McClellen and Rachel (Paul) Stiffler.
Owen was a member of Aultman Baptist Church. He participated at Senior Life for six years. He enjoyed fishing and time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Elaine Stiffler, of Graceton; sons Owen W. Stiffler, of Mississippi; Joseph Stiffler and wife Connie (Grumbly), of McIntyre; and Collins Stiffler, married to Lucy, of Indiana; daughters Marie and husband Robert Spangler, of Oklahoma; Tina and husband Mike Rudnik; of Johnstown, Elvie and husband William Robinson, of Climax; and Evelyn and husband Timothy Smith, of Hanover. He is also survived by his brother, Russell, of Seward, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Owen was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Minnie, in 2003; a daughter, Rachel; brothers Kenneth, Earl, Walter and Roy; and sisters Josephine, Marie Walls, Olive Sarra and Leona Smith.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, Seward where funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Pastors Charles Harvey and Joe Shawley officiating. Interment will follow in Armagh Cemetery.
