ReEtta Jean Zadik

ZADIK – ReEtta Jean, 70, Nanty Glo, formerly of New Florence, passed away May 4, 2013, at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital in Johnstown, surrounded by her family. Born Oct. 23, 1942, in Johnstown, daughter of Lawry and Violet (Lindsey) Ressler. Preceded in death by parents, and brother, Richard Ressler. Survived by loving husband of 37 years, George Zadik, New Florence; loving daughters, Stacie, married to Ronald Kelly, Nanty Glo, and Mary Zadik, New Florence; grandchildren, Timothy Waulk, Christa Taylor and Shawn Waulk; many great-grandchildren; brother, Harry Ressler, and wife, Arlene, Sawyer, Mich.; sister-in-law, Dorina Ressler; and numerous nieces and nephews. ReEtta loved to listen to country music. She liked bright places and family gatherings. Christmas was her favorite holiday. She had a deep love for animals, and could find the good in people. She enjoyed watching old westerns featuring John Wayne and the show “Touched by an Angel.” Friends will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, Seward, where funeral service will be held immediately following the viewing. Private interment.
