Campbell, Richard D., "The Mayor", 76, of Homer City went home to be with his Lord, on January 13, 2020, surrounded by those he loved and who loved him dearly too. He was preceded in death by his parents, George 'Dewey' and Dorothy Campbell. As well as siblings, Beatrice "Pat", Kathleen "Kate", William "Sonny", Eleanor "Margaret", and George "Jr". He is survived by his loving wife of over 51 years, Sylvia Helen, (Kreashko) who he affectionately called "Lovey". One of his favorite things to do was sit on the glider and hold hands with Lovey. Survived by children Helen Christine , husband Jimmy, Amy, Douglas and wife Andrea, Jennifer "Winnie" and husband Dave, Amanda "Mandy" and husband Kevin, and Sara "Princess". Grandchildren Julia, James, Chelsianna, Rebecca, Eli, Jack, Johnny, and Lukey. These folks represent his finest accomplishments in life. He taught them how to love with all your heart, compassion, and integrity. Also survived by sister Janet Huffman, who he could always rely on to share a smile and bring happiness. He will always be in our hearts and he shared so much love it will always be felt. He was also known for his heart felt advice or if necessary a lecture. Both of which are fondly remembered by many. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Jon A. Meese Funeral Home - Seward. Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church - Vintondale. The Rev. Grigori Tsjouman officiating. Interment Armagh Cemetery. Everyone attending is asked to meet directly at the church on Thursday
