Shirley Ann Guaetta

GUAETTA – Shirley Ann, 72, Hershey, formerly of Seward, passed away April 3, 2013, at Country Meadows Nursing Home, Hershey. Born Sept. 27, 1940, in Homer City, daughter of Ernest and Beatrice (Conrad) Munshower. Preceded in death by parents and husband, Carmello, who passed away in 2008. Survived by loving son, Chad, married to the former Jane Forte, Hummelstown, Pa.; loving daughter, Stacie, married to Dave Shaffer, Coatsville, Pa.; grandchildren, Alyssa and Brayden Shaffer; brothers, Ernest Munshower, Houston, Texas; and James Munshower, married to Roberta, Seward; and sister, Judith McLaughlin, Clearfield, Pa. Shirley was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward. She served as treasurer of the Seward Volunteer Fire Company ladies auxiliary for 12 years. She was auditor for St. Clair Township and former Brownie leader and Cub Scouts Den mother. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, 1201 Fifth St., Seward. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church, the Rev. Ronald Cyktor, officiating. Interment, Armagh Cemetery.
