Twyla Smith Obituary

SMITH - Twyla Garnet, 90, Seward, died Nov. 9, 2009, at LaurelWood Care Center. Born Jan. 21, 1919, in Johnstown, daughter of Fred J. and Clara (Hecker) Adams. Preceded in death by parents; husband, James R. Smith; daughter, Kathy Hogg; and sister, Kathryn Hite. She was the last member of her immediate family. Member of Seward United Methodist Church and the Golden Rule Class. Retired from Bestform with 33 years of service. Friends will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, 1201 Fifth St., Seward, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. John Hodge, officiating. Private interment, Grandview Cemetery.
