BEST – William P., 64, Seward, died Dec. 3, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center. Born May 21, 1948, in Rimersburg, son of Leroy and Helen (Earley) Best. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Betty Lou; and brothers, Jack and Robert. Survived by loving wife, former Jean Black, Seward; brothers, Junior Best, Rimersburg, and Jerry, married to Lavonne; and sister, Shirley Aaron, Rimersburg. Death breaks marriage union of 31 years. Retired with 34 years of service from Norfolk Southern Railroad. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Bill loved to hunt, fish and trap. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday Jon A. Meese Funeral Home, Seward, where funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday. Interment, Armagh Cemetery. Military service conducted by Conemaugh Valley Marine Detachment Unit 287.
