Heaven must surely be a bit sweeter of a place today." Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Sunday at the Jon A. Meese Funeral Home - Seward. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church - Seward. Rev Robert Washko officiating. Interment Armagh Cemetery.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Romayne. I grew up in Charles and have many memories of being at the house and spending time with her. I grew up with both Tom and Doug and went there frequently to play. It was always a place we felt comfortable and was "home" and she was a big part of that. We may have moved from the area but those childhood memories stay with us wherever we go. Romayne had a big impact on a lot of the kids in Charles and won't be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with your family as I recently lost my father as well.
